The TELUS Fire on Ice musical fireworks will project you into a universe of shapes and colors,
Countries and regions such as Russia, Austria, Germany, Belgium , France, Québec and many more will be present.
This village will allow the festival-goers to celebrate and enjoy customs of different communities and origins. Traditional dishes, local wines, crafts and much more awaits the visitors!
Christmas concerts in Old Montreal District
From December 1 to 23, 2012, Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel will resound to the music of the Choralies. Offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 and 3:00 p.m., these concerts of Christmas carols will help you to experience the magic of the holidays. Given the huge success of last year’s offerings, a closing concert with the Da Capo ensemble will be presented on Sunday, December 23rd at 8:00 p.m.
New this year, two Sundays will be devoted to musical themes. Sunday, December 9, the Modulation vocal ensemble will offer jazz harmonies. And prepare to thrill and to dance to the lively gospel hymns of the Diversion group on December 16.

Christmas Eve masses
7:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and midnight
In addition to our traditional 9:30 pm and midnight masses, a family mass is offered at 7 pm. This mass focuses on traditional hymns, accompanied by a choir that will make you discovered different sounds from the organ.
For each of the three masses:
Tickets: adults $5.00, 17 and under $2.00. Free admission to the 2nd balcony.
You may reserve in person at 424 rue St-Sulpice from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Come witness Montreal and the Basilica’s history through the city’s most stunning light and sound show. This magnificent show uses today’s most advanced multimedia techniques to highlight the Basilica’s historical, cultural, architectural and spiritual legacy…and its many outstanding works of art
« And Then There Was Light » represents the work of 150 artists and skilled technicians and uses the most advanced digital technologies as well as complex mechanics. The lighting is entirely robotized and the images, filmed in high definition, are saved on a server specially developed for this technology. Wireless headsets are available to listen to the show in English or French.
