Led by a professional guide, participants will wander through the historic streets, from Victoria Square to Bonsecours Market, discovering the secrets of Christmases past. A voyage through

time, you will be introduced to the origins of holiday traditions that have been part of our culture for many years. New France customs in particular will surely fascinate many! Visitors will also experience this special time of year through the Santa Claus exhibit at Montréal’s World Trade Center, as well as by admiring the wonderful decorations of Old Montreal shops, museums and hotel lobbies.

“These visits are the perfect way to start the holiday season and to learn more about the traditions of this joyous time of year! In fact, this tour is a first Christmas gift to yourself… in good company!” enthuses Louise Hébert, President of Guidatour.

This year’s tours will once again be on Saturdays, on December 1st, 8th and 15th. Tours are from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in English and 4:00pm to 5:30pm in French.
